About Me

Hi! My name is Kerin O'Brien. I was born and have lived my life in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region of New York. I have been shooting rifles and shotguns for the better part of 30 years but my passion for pistol shooting came about in 2009. The first time I shot my friend's .45 caliber, I knew pistol shooting was a sport I would love. I never imagined that love would bring me to Gunsite Academy, Paulden, AZ in February of 2017 to become an NRA and Well Armed Woman Pistol Instructor!

I currently live in Greenville, NY in beautiful Greene County. I'm blessed to have a small backyard farm including; Kimi, the horse; 3 chickens and two cats. I work full time as an administrative assistant for the Columbia County IT department as well as part time security work at CMH Hospital.
